The Municipality of North Tzoumerka honors Costas Krystallis

The celebrations for the celebration of Syrrakoi's poet Costas Krystallis, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of his birth, continue to the Municipality of Northern Tzoumerka, in order to take Giannena after the events that took place in Syrrako, Preveza and Athens . The event, as well as the previous ones, is under the auspices of the President of the Republic and is organized in cooperation with the Association of Syracadians of Ioannina and the Welfare Society of Culture, Environment, Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Ioannina, on Sunday 18th November at 7.30pm, in the "Vasilios Pyrsinella" Hall of the Spiritual Center of the Municipality of Ioannina. For a high-level honorable event for Krystallis, the Mayor of Northern Tzoumerka, Yannis Sendeless, invited the audience to attend, while for his part the president of the Syracadies Association of Ioannina, Hippocrates Alexis, marked the event for "The Crossroads of Literature ", Recalling the words of the President of the Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, during his attendance at the events in Syrrako in July, which apologized on behalf of the state for what he did not do for Krystallis. At the same time, he thanked the mayor of North Tzoumerka because he was involved in the work of the poet, as well as the art group "north", who undertook to present the work and life of K. Krystallis, approaching them theatrical. The 1st part of the event, apart from the established greetings, includes a speech by Syrkakiotissa, former consultant of Secondary Education of the Prefecture of Ioannina, Voula Skamnelou, on "Crystal passes and outlets to Kostas Krystallis: Games to avoid" the plain " , and then teacher Amalia Soultis will recite poems and the radio producer Yannis Blessas will read excerpts from the poet's poet's work. In the second part will be presented the theatrical performance "... for this purpose ...", by the "Northern" Art Group of the Municipality of Northern Tzoumerka. It is a theatrical approach of the life and work of poet Costas Krystallis. "Through his poems, which are both recitation and melodic, as well as from the prose of the theatrical text, the viewer will have the opportunity to get in touch and know what the poet's short life was and what was his work, "said Mr Senteles. The event will be co-ordinated by teacher Dimitra Exarchou-Tsoumeka and the entrance is free.
